Assistant Consultant
Beth is an assistant consultant for Sparrowly Group, supporting the team on development of delivery of client projects, Sparrowly Group programs, business development and operations.
She brings 14 years of experience in hospitality and travel services, progressing through various roles to operations management. With this experience she has elevated her service-orientated offerings and thrives in fast paced environments.
With a keen interest in planning, coordinating and implementing projects from conception to completion, Beth gains satisfaction from working closely with details and meeting a vast variety of stakeholders.
Beth’s professional and personal travel experience immersed her further into the academic side of social science and tourism, focusing heavily on community development, decolonisation, Indigenous tourism and socio cultural sustainability. Her academic and professional education is supported by her personal travel experiences, having visited almost 60 countries, actively seeking to understand cultural differences and diverse worldviews.
During her time at Western Sydney University, Beth studied abroad at Alma Mater Studiorum - Universita di Bologna, Rimini campus, gaining European perspectives on tourism management and planning. She furthered her education in Kathmandu, Nepal, working as a Tourism and Heritage Consultant. There she collaborated with local stakeholders and community members in developing sustainable tourism that balanced natural and cultural heritage preservation and the needs of rural communities and infrastructure.
