Programs and strategies that help farmers diversify, build experiences and grow sustainable and resilient regional economies.

Ripe red strawberries hang from leafy vines in a sunlit growing tunnel.

Agritourism offers powerful opportunities for farm diversification, regional growth and resilient rural communities, but success requires more than enthusiasm. Primary producers and farmers need practical guidance to design visitor-ready experiences, navigate compliance, price for profit and build sustainable operations.

Sparrowly Group is Australia’s leading agritourism and value-adding partner. We work directly with farmers, councils and regions to transform agritourism ideas into viable, bookable and scalable businesses.

Our approach combines hands-on mentoring, structured training and strategic roadmaps, helping producers move confidently from concept to launch. We focus on real-world outcomes - new experiences delivered, stronger businesses built and new income streams created.

From individual farmers to region-wide, we help agritourism grow in ways that are practical, responsible and commercially successful.

We are active members of the Global Agritourism Network, as well as the Australian and New Zealand Regional Committee. In 2023, Sparrowly Group represented Australia at the United Nations World Tourism Organisation Gastronomy Tourism Conference in Spain which had a major focus on agritourism. In 2026, Sparrowly Group will represent Australia at the Global Agritourism Conference in Scotland.

Our approach

We bridge the gap between big ideas and on-farm realities. Our approach recognises the unique constraints of working farms, seasons, family businesses and regional markets.

We design and deliver agritourism programs that meet farmers where they are, from early-stage ideas through to mature, established experiences.

Every program is grounded in tourism expertise and agricultural practicality, designed to help producers take the next achievable step forward.

We work alongside producers to:

  • Turn concepts into achievable experiences

  • Test ideas against real operations

  • Build confidence and practical skills

  • Navigate risk, planning and compliance

  • Develop clear pricing and experiences

  • Strengthen marketing and distribution

  • Launch with structure and support

Programs are tailored for local governments, tourism organisations, Regional Development Authorities, industry bodies and destinations to build long-term agritourism capability and value-adding across regions.

We deliver practical end-to-end agritourism capability programs and services including:

  • Regional agritourism development programs

  • Producer workshops and masterclasses

  • One-on-one and group mentoring

  • Experience design and feasibility support

  • Pricing and packaging workshops

  • Marketing readiness and distribution planning

  • Compliance and risk guidance

  • Implementation toolkits, resources and templates
