Naomi Farrelly

Naomi Farrelly has over 20 years experience working across Local, State and Federal Government organisations and Australian tourism products, with a focus on destination management, experience development, regional tourism marketing and building strong visitor economies. 

She works with businesses and destinations on strategies and activities to drive success. Her industry experience has been showcased across a range of strategic programs and mentoring including as mentor on the Newcastle Product Development Mentoring Program, Hawkesbury Business Mentoring Program and Mackay Small Business Mentoring Program. Strategically, she has as part of the Sparrowly Group team developed and delivered the International Ready Strategy for Destination Sydney Surrounds North, one of the six regional networks in NSW as well as delivered training for industry across NSW as well as a number of drive programs in NSW, Queensland and Western Australia.

Passionate about building strong regions, she has led community groups and worked with local councils on a range of projects and programs, applying her expertise in visitor economies and stakeholder engagement to build more inclusive communities. 

To support a strong business ecosystem in her home town of Port Stephens, she opened Spark CoWork and has built a thriving innovation hub which supports local businesses and community groups. Naomi and her husband are also the owners of successful Newcastle small business, Noble Barons - Home Brew.

Her experience gives her a unique understanding of both big picture strategy and the day-to-day challenges of small businesses. Naomi has proven experience in bringing together diverse stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes and grow businesses.
